The North Atlantic Figure Skating Club
announces the
Diamond Jubilee 10th Anniversary Ice Show!
December, 2007
Dear Club Members:
The highlight of the skating year is the North Atlantic Figure Skating Club’s Annual Ice Show! In hopes of accommodating more skaters this year we are very excited to have an April show date including a Sunday matinee. Our show skaters will jump, spin and dance under the lights along with our special guest skaters. Past special guests have included Olympic, International and National competitors. This year will be no exception. Along with our special guest star, we are proud to highlight past skaters from Maine who have contributed to the sport. The show dates are Saturday, April 12th at 5:00 PM and Sunday, April 13th at 2:00 PM.
Group numbers are open to all associate and home club members. Please remember, in order to skate a feature or solo, eligible skaters must participate in a group number.
Even though the show is 4 months (and many snowfalls) away, the deadline for registration is January 10, 2008 so that costumes can be ordered in time for the dress rehearsal. Please fill out the enclosed registration form and return the completed form with your payment by the deadline to reserve space in the group production numbers. The attached includes a tentative rehearsal schedule and registration form.
New Payment Plan - The first half payment is due on January 10th, 2008 and the second payment is due on March 1st. All fees must be paid by March 1st or skaters will not be able to rehearse or participate in the show.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Debra Coppinger, NAFSC Skating Director and Ice Show Producer, at 781-5058 or by email at nafsc@aol.com.
Come join the lights, sparkle and excitement of this year’s skating extravaganza!
Skatingly,
The Board of the North Atlantic Figure Skating Club and Coach Deb!
